The Drum Academy has been established in Leicester city centre for nearly 20 years and offers tuition in all styles of drum kit; beginner's to advanced. There's 5 teachers based at the Drum Academy. Richard offers friendly, one-to-one tuition comprising rudiments,
exciting rhythms and techniques. Students may choose to learn for fun
or study the Trinity Guildhall exam syllabus for drum kit. These

All abilities welcome from the age of 5 and upwards! Learn to play drums for fun, play along to your favourite songs or work towards grades. Play rock, pop, swing, jazz, country, funk, blues, indie, D&B and loads more different styles! No previous experience or instrument knowledge required, learn to read drum notation in a friendly and simplified manner, as well as learning to play along to songs.
I have been playing drums for 14 years, teaching music for almost as long, and have experience of working with children and young people with learning difficulties and behavioural difficulties. I have an enhanced CRB for working with children and young people.
