Come and learn to play the drums from a real working musician that has played in west end theater, the country's biggest recording studios and toured all over the world!

I teach in my own purpose built teaching studio, giving plenty of light and a clean inviting atmosphere (no more learning in dark rooms surrounded by damp carpeted walls!) I have a huge selection of professional drums and equipment which are all freely available to students to use in lessons as well as multiple drum kits setup to best suit the needs and styles of the student.

The Studio is also setup as my personal recording studio, meaning we regularly record your playing. This lets you hear your own playing to analyze it, something many students never get to do. It also means that we are able to undertake recording projects for GCSE's and other exams, for you to produce your own music, or record yourself playing along to some of my backing tracks. This can be invaluable for marking progress and also just fantastic fun! I also regularly pick up a guitar or bass and play along with you, this teaches students how to interact with other musicians and makes being in a band a lot less scary and a lot more fun!

My lessons are tailored to the student, meeting individual needs and goals. We cover the areas YOU want to work on, or if you prefer i can create a personal plan to give you more structure in your development and a program we can work on to cover all aspects of drumming and musicianship.

I am fortunate to have learnt from not only some of the best drummers in the world but also the best teachers. This has let me combine their different philosophies and teaching methods into my own unique blend. Because of this i have not only taught privately but i have also been asked to perform drum clinics / masterclasses to audiences throughout Europe as well as performing at Musikmesse - Europe's largest Music trade show.

I cover all techniques, grips and styles and cater for all ability levels from absolute beginners to professionals. I teach rock school and trinity grades.

Most of all I make sure lessons are fun!
