"A versatile percussionist and drummer, Matt graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in 2002, and has since worked in a huge range of situations and genres. Highlights include performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the studio and all over the world, and work on numerous West end musicals, including the multi-award winning Jerry Springer – The Opera, A Chorus Line at the world famous London Palladium, and currently Wicked and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Matt regularly performs at London’s Coliseum with the English National Opera on both drums and percussion, and can heard (and occasionally seen) in films and commercial recording sessions. Matt also runs his own studio, providing online percussion and drum tracks for clients all over the world.

He is a passionate and committed teacher, and very proud to be part of the Faculty at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. Private lessons are given in Matt's own studio, where students get hands on experience in a state of the art recording environment. As well as helping younger students take graded exams in drums and percussion, Matt specialises in helping advanced students make the tricky transition to becoming a working, successful professional."
