Robin began teaching the drums at age 18 privately and also in primary Schools and various music Academy's in the midlands. During this time he has taught over 1000 students of all ages and abilities.
As well as a teacher Robin is a keen player and has played in many different musical situations ranging from Pop to Post-Punk, Metal, Hip hop and Soul. He has been lucky enough to study with many world class drummers including:  

Thomas Lang, Jim Chapin, Claus Hessler, Jojo Mayer, Jack Atherton (Jake Bugg), Massimo Russo & Sergio Bellotti (Berklee College).
