I’ve been playing drums / percussion for over fifteen years, and performing regularly for the vast majority of this time. I have played in many different projects and have made music all over the country and abroad alongside some amazing musicians. I have played at large music festivals – including Glastonbury, Boardmasters, and the Norweigian Sommerfesten – in theatres, in large and small clubs/venues, and the occasional pub. I’ve recorded in pro studios in the UK and Europe. I’ve been involved with rock bands, punk bands, ska bands, jazz bands, indie bands, motown / soul bands, orchestras, musical theatre productions, and I have experience of co-writing songs too.

I am passionate about teaching and passing on my knowledge to the next generation of drummers. I have a wealth of experience as a drum teacher, including preparing students for graded exams (and have a 100% pass rate, mostly merits or distinctions). I’ve worked for several Local Authority music services, teaching both individual students and large groups in schools across the country.
