Hello! I'm Toby, and having been playing drums since the age of 11, reaching diploma level of performing, completing a degree in Music and gaining almost a decade's gigging experience at only 22, I am now pleased to be able to offer drum lessons to all ages and for all styles in the Plymouth area. 

I have vast technical and performance experience obtained through years of academic musical study, as well as an extensive record of gigging and recording throughout the South West. This was performed primarily with my Indie Rock band The Quincies, as well as recurring session performances with Jazz bands, Blues outfits and frequent encounters with many other styles. During this time I have also been keen to project this passion for percussion onto others through tutoring those who have come to me with an interest in drumming. 

Having now graduated and being fully DBS certified, I am keen to set up an affordable and exceptional service to teach all styles of playing to all ages. This will be through using graded exams for those who wish to track their progress through such means, but with my main focus being to provide fun and informative lessons for all students irrespective of this. Lessons will be provided on a home-tuition basis, for the very competitive price of £21 per hour (30 minute sessions are available), with the first hour FREE!
