I have been teaching for the last 7 years both in the UK and in the USA and have been studying drums since my late teens. I tailor my lesson content towards the musical interests of my students while also encouraging them to develop awareness of new styles of music. I am also happy to help students working towards Trinity or Rock School grades.I have experience of teaching group drum kit and percussion lessons in schools across all ages and an area I specialise in is Jazz drumming with a very good set of lessons tailored towards students who are interested in starting to develop their jazz playing. I am fully CRB checked and have experience working with SEN students.

Areas covered in lessons include:
Grip/technique, learning to read music, learning songs by ear, independence, basic beats for all styles of drumming, playing to click/backing tracks.

I cover Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Wimborne in Dorset.
