Andy Thornton is a drummer with 40 years experience built from learning during the late days of dance band drumming through rock ‘n roll and onto soul, blues & funk styles of playing.  Currently playing with a number of bands of differing styles, he is noted as a safe pair of hands for session and “depping” work.  Has been teaching for over 10 years and more recently has employed the internationally acclaimed DRUMSENSE teaching programme. MU member and fully CRB checked via Rockschool.
