Luca Minischetti was born in Turin, Italy.
When he was just a kid, he studied drum in his hometown and played with the band, Amoniaka for 10 years, performing 100s of shows until he moved to London.
Since then he has been involved in many original projects, played all around the UK, in most part of Europe and the States, sharing the stage with some great and notorious musicians.
He also regularly performs in many off-West End musicals.
Luca studied at Tech Music School in London completing the 1 Year Diploma and the full Degree in Music Performance (3 years). He was taught by some amazing international artists and attended Master-classes with Billy Cobhan, Jojo Majer, Dave Weckl, Horacio el Negro Hernandez and many more.

As well as being a busy session player, Luca teaches in different organisations (private and public) with a rooster of over 50 students of all age range and ability. 
Luca recently released his first own drum method called: “THE UNIQUE DRUM METHOD” (Music4U Publishing). The book was written and developed trough the success of his students (mainstream and disabled). The method will definitely make the learning of the drum for all, more enjoyable and easy. The simplicity of the method also allows the parents to accompany the young students trough their learning process. The book is currently available through his website www.dfordrumming.com
