About Daisy Palmer

Daisy has been drumming professionally for over 10 years and is a well respected performer and educator. Known for her versatility, technical skill, dynamics and improvisational qualities, her historical and stylistic knowledge of popular idioms, classical and jazz is considerable boasting a BA Honours in Music from Bristol University.

Daisy's Credits include; Goldfrapp, Lillian Boutte, Andy Sheppard, Don Vappie, Beth Gibbons, Get the Blessing, The Scissor Sisters, Boy George, Jim Moray as well as her own projects Chairfight and PEDAL.

Along with focusing on technique, control and coordination; aspects of natural creativity, general musicality and rhythmic awareness will be supported with an emphasis on expressive and dynamic playing. Daisy also specialises in teaching the old time New Orleans jazz and funk styles which are paramount to developing a personal sense of time and 'feel'

Daisy is able to travel to your home to teach or lessons can be taken at her cosy studio on Minerva street, Park Royale, NW10 6HJ.

The fee is £25 for one hour, times are flexible and the schedule can be aways organised to suit the student.
