I am a professional musician and drum tutor working in North-East London. I offer lessons in students' own houses or at my home studio in Finsbury Park. 

My emphasis is to ensure students enjoy playing their instrument as this is the fundamental key to success. I have over fifteen years' teaching experience, and tailor lessons to suit each individual student's ambitions, strengths and skills, whether they are complete beginners or advanced professionals. 

As a performer and recording artist I have performed on recordings selling over six million copies globally (including a UK No.1 Brit Award winning album and multi-platinum selling single), was a member of a band signed to Virgin Records for many years and have extensive global touring experience. Therefore I know what it takes to have fun playing your instrument and also be a successful musician.

My teaching record and program includes: 

- 100% exam pass rate on Trinity, Rockschool and other syllabuses and GCSE/A-Level performance. 
- All elements of musicianship: sight-reading, technique and rudiments, ear-tests, theory, improvisation and performance. 
- Wide range of styles: rock, funk, blues, jazz, latin, metal, modern dance music, pop. 
- Flexible teaching program to work on songs and styles of students' choice. 

I also work as a guitar tutor, singer and composer so am able to offer a comprehensive perspective to drumming in a wider context.

My rates are £30 for 60 mins, £25 for 45 mins or £20 for 30mins. I am happy to arrange a half-price starter lesson to see if my teaching style suits you.
