Hello everyone hello future rock and pop stars...!!!

My name is steve groome and I started playing the drums in June 1976...wot inspired me was all I heard when I listened to my favourite music was drums...they stood out above everything else...I knew from that moment I was a drummer...!!!

I am essentially a rock and metal lover...all genres of the style...but learning and playing all styles is essential to learning progress and evolving as a drummer as you can take and use ideas for everything you care to follow...

I was brought up on neil peart...ian paice...cozy powell...alex van halen...scott travers...brian downey...pete gill...lars ulrich...

I still love playing and discovering new techniques 36 years on from when I first started...I have a real honest genuine true passion for drums and feel I am extremely confident in being able to pass this enthusiasm and motivation to others who want to learn...

I have played in numerous original ... covers bands and currently play in an iron maiden tribute band...

I have played for 3 iron maiden tributes bands...metallica...megadeth and ufo tributes.

I also toured with paul dianno the original singer of IRON MAIDEN in 2005 as his drummer...
