Philipp is a freelance musician based in London. Originally from Austria, Philipp has relocated to the UK in 2004 and has since enjoyed a versatile and busy schedule both live and in the studio and has gained a wealth of experience from amazing songwriters, producers, film composers to touring with established acts and studio sessions with some of the top names in the industry.

He started hitting the pots and pans in his parents bakery from very early on and after a couple of years playing the piano he eventually acquired his first set of drums at the age of 8. He started to play his first gigs at 14 and was soon after booked on a professional level. In the following years he was member of countless bands, working alongside successful Austrian acts like multi platinum selling band “Die Seer” and putting as much work as possible into his schedule before enrolling at the Vienna Jazz Conservatory. During his time in Vienna Philipp played drums alongside Tower Of Power’s legendary frontman Hubert Tubbs, 2002 latin grammy nominee Celeste Carballo and toured Europe as drum-tech for Terry Bozzio. It was in 2003 when he felt the urge to experience a new scene and a brief spell of touring the UK triggered a move to London in 2004.
