About Tim Langsford
I have been playing drums since 1993, when I was 10 years old.  In that time I have played with a multitude of bands at professional level, and performed many many 100s of shows, gracing stages at Glastonbury and famous venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire, Kentish Town Forum, The Scala and Bristol’s Colston Hall.  I have also featured on a wide range of professionally recorded albums.  Currently I am committed mostly to ad hoc recording session work for different artists and teaching from my home in Plymouth.  I also work as a mental health and autism mentor at Plymouth University.

I specialise in teaching beginners and children, aiming to quickly develop rhythmic ideas and concepts that will lead to being creative with the drumkit as soon as possible.  I can sight-read and like to pass on the skill of reading music, but only if the student is keen to do so; my main goal is to make lessons fun, energetic and to promote confidence and enthusiasm behind the kit.

I charge £25 per hour lesson (£12.50 per half hour).  If you have any further questions, please get in touch! I have several students on my books at the moment (aged from 5 to 35) but have space for several more, I look forward to hearing from you.
