Endorsements

I am writing a letter of recommendation for Akinori Fujimoto who taught drums at Copland School.
It was a great privilege working with such a committed, trustworthy teacher and I would like to express why I feel he was a great asset to the department.
During the 7 years at the school, Aki proved to be dependable, efficient and he focused on strengthening the goals of the department. The progress many of the students made with Aki far exceeded any expectations I had made and this demonstrated how committed he was.
Aki was able to impart his enthusiasm and passion for music to others and through his example, young learners were motivated and had the desire to aim high. There was a wonderful connection that developed between a respectful role model and  the pupils.
Through a number of observations it was clear that Aki was aware of a variety of approaches to teaching music as he was constantly broadening his pedagogy based on best practice. His warm nature and patience showed he understood others and was able to adapt his teaching to engage the different needs of his learners. He would relish in their accomplishments and acknowledge each newly learned measure of music.
I heartily endorse Aki for any music position  and I am more than happy to discuss in more detail about the experiences gained from working with him.
