My teaching style is extremely laid back, patient and intiuitiveintiuitive, with no stone left unturned. I learnt how to drum this way and that's the way I teach. The importance of listening to each individuals needx is extremely important and allowing each person to flourish into the musician they want to be, rather than the musician I want them to be! Every style of drumming is catered for, from the very basics of learning how to hold sticks and mastering coordination and a basic 4/4 beat, progressing to more complicated rhythms and time signatures allowing each student to learn and progress at a pace that's comfortable for them. With patience and a lot of practice I can guarantee students will be at the level where they can feel comfortable to create their own arrangements, read and write drum music if they wish and even learn how to use studio software such as Logic and Cubase. Please feel free to visit my MySpace to listen to my recordings and
contact me to find out more about booking a session with me. Free 20 minute taster sessions are available and my rate from then on is £25 per hour with half hour sessions available at £12.50 p/hr if requested. I have (in my opinion) one of the best kits in the business, Pearl Target Jazz Fusion which is a fantastic kit to learn on. If you're itching to learn drums, develop skills you already have or revisit drums please get in touch, all ages, sexes races are welcome to come and acquire my services. Thanks for dropping by! Chris
Drum Lessons in Nottingham.
Plenty of gigging and recording experience as a drummer and a vocalist. Most notably featured on recordings as a drummer for prog/ rock band Alright The Captain aswell as extensive gigging playing venues such as The Charlotte in Leicester, Rock City in Nottingham and the Loaded Dog in Leytonstone and The Fox and Firkin in Lewisham. My solo EP "Music to Wear Hats By" was given a 4 star review in Mojo Magazine and the track "Hopping Mad" played on Annie Nightingale's BBC6 Music show. Plenty planned in 2015 with a new solo project "The Pigeon Fishers!"
