As a teacher, tutor and lecturer, Martin has taught privately, led seminars and workshops and been a sought after clinician for over 20 years. Past students have gone on to become successful drummers and percussionists in their own right, and Martin has taught and continues to teach many professional drummers, as well as beginners starting on their way to mastering the drums.

Having studied with some of the finest drum tutors, the teaching method Martin employs uses elements of the "bibles of drumming", from the classic books of drumming, and employs an approach that WORKS and fully prepares the student for skills to master drums and play musically in the REAL world, with Real musicians. Not just for the virtual "look at me" world of the internet. :-)

Lessons take place in a fully soundproof, acoustically designed studio on real drums. Access to play along material and recording is made possible due to the Pro Tools equipped studio.
