Hello! My name is James and I am a professional drum teacher based in Leicester, helping students of all ages and abilities to develop their playing ability. I teach from a music studio located at Humberstone Gate, in central Leicester, with great access for students from across Leicestershire. I am an experienced and qualified drum teacher, having gained a BA Hons in Popular Music from the University of Northampton, as well as my Grade 8 on drums - this is alongside over 13 years of performing and recording experience as a drummer.

My lessons are fun, engaging and run at the pace that suits you as a student. I pride myself on tailoring my lessons around my pupil's musical interests, ensuring that I build a course of lessons that motivates you to reach that next level on drums. I have a BA Hons in popular music from the University of Northampton, am a Grade 8 qualified drummer, have toured as a musician alongside residencies at Midlands venues, I have 4 years experience of supporting students with learning needs, an A level in music and over 13 years of live drumming experience, alongside a position as a Lead Tutor for a Leicester-based music charity.
